The picpost software has been updated, and a few changes have been implemented.

• By popular request, a new public album category for cross dressers, transsexuals, and men in satin has been added. Please post all CD/TS material in this category or in your user albums.

• Note that if you browse the ‘Last Additions’ in the Picpost, all of the most recent posts will appear, including CD/TS content in user albums. If you wish to not see this material, please browse the albums individually.

• Comments have been re-enabled! Please keep comments civil and respectful - rude comments will be deleted, and repeat offenders will be banned.

• An account is required to post pics and comments. You must be logged in to post. This is to prevent abuse.

• If you have any problems with browsing or posting pics, please email me ASAP so I can fix it.

A long-overdue site update has been finished. All of the dead links have been removed and a few new sites have been added. As always, if you know about any good sites with satin content, please email me through the link at the bottom of each page.

A new Shiny section has been added with models in sexy, shiny lycra and spandex! While it’s not satin, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it! Over 200 new galleries have been added to the TGP as well.

The people behind the Only Tease family of sites have introduced a new site: Only Silk and Satin. Already there are thousands of pics on the site! If you’re familiar with these sites, then you know the caliber of girls they use. Definitely a welcome addition to the great number of satin websites out there.

Regretfully I’ve had to remove several paysites, namely All About Satin and related sites. They closed my affiliate account without explanation, and it looks like they stopped updating those sites years ago.

• New galleries have been added to the Galleries section, and the page has been slightly redesigned to highlight the previous day’s archives. We have at least 2 months worth of satin galleries in the database now.
• Added a few more albums to the Flickr Albums section under Groups. I’m sure I’m just scratching the surface of what’s out there, so email me if you find or have a good Flickr album or group. Flickr albums are today’s Yahoo Groups, so sign up and start posting!
• Registration is now required to post photos in the Picpost. This is to prevent abuse. I attempted to re-enable commenting, but until I can find a way to thwart spambots, comments will remain closed.
• Coming soon: the Satin Tube video post! A streaming video site just for satin fetish videos, where you can share your favorite satin clips! I hope to have it up and running in the next few weeks.

The photo sharing site Flickr is a popular place to post pictures, and many satin blouse enthusiasts are hosting their own collections there (most notably shinyblouse.net, whose flickr pro account current has over 16,000 pics!)

I’ve added a Flickr category to the Groups page and listed the best satin photo albums I could find. If you have a Flickr account or know of an album that I don’t have listed, please submit it from the category page and shoot me an email.

IMHO, Flickr albums are a better solution for posting pics than Yahoo groups. Plus, they work with the Yahoo account you currently have - no need to sign up for another account. I hope to see more of you starting Flickr albums and sharing your favorite satin pics. After all, Yahoo groups are soooo 2002!

Many of you regular visitors have probably noticed that we’ve been having server issues the last week or two. We just completed a move to a new server (which was itself fraught with issues), and hopefully there should be no further problems.

I’ve added about 100 new galleries to the thumbnail gallery post and expanded the page to over 50 thumbnails. A dozen fresh galleries everyday, with the most popular rotating down the page for a week. Should be enough in the database so you won’t see a gallery again for at least two months.

Got a couple of new sites to tell you about. The makers of Pantyhose Tales, as well as a slew of other pantyhose themed sites, have released some new sites. Speaking of that, I’ve been pondering the idea of adding a forum to Satin Fetish Links, but I have reservations about whether I’d be able to properly moderate or at the very least stimulate enough interest to make it worthwhile. What do you think?

As an aside, if anyone knows of some good websites that sell nice satin items, please let me know. I plan on posting links to some good eBay sellers with satin merchandise soon.

I’ve been offline for a while, due to circumstances beyond my control. In the meantime, I worked on a new design for Satin Fetish Links. Do you like it? A few kinks need to be ironed out still, but I think it’s a great improvement over the old design. That nice satin background will even change colors once in a while!
